One of the best parts of wine touring in the Okanagan Valley is that the list never really feels finished. New tasting rooms keep opening, older properties take on fresh identities, and major estate winery projects continue adding new wineries and experiences.
The past two years have brought everything from small family-run producers to large wine, food, and hospitality destinations. Some are focused on bubbles. Others are working with less familiar grape varieties or offering a different take on wine tastings in the valley.
Here are four of the newest places to add to your list, arranged from most recent to oldest.
New Wineries In The Okanagan
Ailm Estate, Kelowna
Began welcoming visitors in June 2026
Ailm Estate is the latest winery experience from the Stewart family, whose history in the Okanagan includes Stewart Brothers Nurseries and Quails’ Gate Estate Winery.
The family began converting its South Kelowna nursery property into vineyards around 2015. Ailm released its first wines, Reserve Brut and Connemara, in 2024, but the estate began welcoming visitors to its Crawford Road property in June 2026. Tastings are currently held on a covered outdoor patio while plans for a permanent tasting room and restaurant move forward.
The portfolio includes limited releases, with sparkling wine playing an important role in the estate’s story. It’s a new way to experience a property with more than a century of Stewart family history behind it.
O’Rourke Family Estate, Lake Country
Public experience expanded in May 2026
O’Rourke Family Estate has opened in stages, so there isn’t one simple grand-opening date.
Row 188 was already accepting dinner reservations by February 2026. Beginning over the May long weekend, the restaurant expanded to five days a week and the Granite Café began hosting wine tastings while the estate’s permanent tasting rooms remained under construction.
Visitors can now book private tours and tastings through the winery and its underground cave network. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are central to the estate’s wine program, and the property also offers dining, accommodations, event spaces, and an outdoor amphitheatre.
This is less of a quick tasting-room stop and more of a full Lake Country destination.
Azhadi Vineyards, Kelowna
Opened February, 2026
Azhadi Vineyards officially opened to the public in Kelowna’s McKinley area in February 2026.
The property brings together wine, contemporary architecture, Persian-inspired design, and a large art collection. Journey Restaurant opened alongside the winery and serves locally sourced dishes influenced by global and Persian flavours.
Azhadi’s wine experiences and gallery tours are separate reasons to visit. Guests can explore the wines, book a meal, or take in artwork and design details throughout the four-level estate.
Evolve Sparkling House, Penticton
Opened July, 2025
Evolve Sparkling House officially opened near the beginning of the Naramata Bench on July 23, 2025.
The winery is dedicated mainly to sparkling wine, including traditional-method expressions, while also producing a smaller selection of still wines. Its property overlooks Okanagan Lake and sits beside the Kettle Valley Rail Trail.
Evolve launched with several tasting options, including quick tastings, curated flights, and food-pairing experiences. The winery remains a natural Penticton stop for groups who believe a wine tour could use a few more bubbles.

These wineries stretch from Vernon to Oliver, so visiting all nine in one day isn’t realistic. The better plan is to choose one wine region, slow down, and leave enough time to enjoy each stop.
