1. TASTE Series – Scenic Sip Wineries

If you love wine or want to try something new this February, the TASTE Series on the Scenic Sip Wine Trail is a must-attend event. On February 22, 2025, head to the wineries in Lake Country to experience a delicious pairing of local wines and food at a selection of well-known spots, including 50th Parallel Estate, Gray Monk, Peak Cellars, and more.

Each winery offers its own unique wine and food experience. For example, at Peak Cellars, you will indulge in Thai Sweet Potato Soup paired with their award-winning Block 11 Riesling. The Taste series has two Taste Pass options. At $65, you’ll get six tasting vouchers, which means you can visit multiple wineries and sample various wines. For the Designated Driver, there is a $45 pass that includes non-alcoholic beverages and the food portion of each pairing.

Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or just looking to relax with friends, this event is a fun and flavourful way to spend the day. If you’re interested, you can check out more details and get your tickets here.

Get ready for a night of music and dancing at Mountain Magic 2025. On Saturday, February 22, 2025, Revelry is hosting an exciting event from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with live performances and a vibrant atmosphere. Smalltown DJs and other talented local artists will take the stage, offering a great opportunity to enjoy some music or hit the dance floor.

For additional experience, consider the Dinner+Concert ticket option, which is perfect for a date night. By 8:00 pm, the Smalltown DJs & friends will take the stage. Plenty of food and drinks will also be available, including craft beers and local sodas, so you can stay refreshed as the night goes on.

Remember to bring your government-issued ID for entry. This event is a great excuse to grab some friends and enjoy what Kelowna has to offer. You will surely have a great time with live music, food, and beverages.

3. Kelowna Black History Month Celebration

February is Black History Month, and Tourism Kelowna has an excellent way to honour and celebrate the rich culture and history of the Black community. The Kelowna Black History Month Celebration on February 22, 2025, from 4:30 PM at the Black Box Theatre, is an important event where you can learn, reflect, and enjoy performances that highlight the contributions of Black Canadians throughout history.

Expect to see a range of activities like live artists, African & Caribbean Food, a fashion show, speakers, and much more. Tickets for this celebration are $25 online or $35 at the door, making it an affordable way to take part in this meaningful event.

4. TELUS Kelowna Cup

For all the ski and snowboard enthusiasts, the TELUS Kelowna Cup at Big White Ski Resort is an event you won’t want to miss. With the chance to win over $10,000 in prizes, it is a great way to spend the weekend. On February 15th, 2025, top athletes will compete in one of the region’s most exciting winter sports events. The Kelowna Cup is a competitive ski race that focuses on the principle of time duplication. Participants are trying to match their first run’s time rather than being the fastest.

Even if you’re not a participant, watching the action live is incredibly exciting. The event offers a chance to see some of the best local and regional athletes push themselves to the limit on the slopes. Whether you’re a skier or snowboarder, this is an event to cheer on competitors and maybe even get inspired to take your skills to the next level. It’s also a great way to spend time with family or friends, enjoying the winter beauty of Big White Ski Resort.
