Crown And Thieves Winery
Public service announcement: Crown & Thieves Winery just may be the coolest spot west of the bridge! Starting off strong, Crown and Thieves lands in top spot on our list of the 5 Kelowna wineries you need to visit in 2025. Tucked deep in the heart of West Kelowna, its facade looks much like the sort of thing you might find on the European countryside. On entering through the wrought iron gate past lush orchards and vineyards, a crumbling, ancient castle will emerge, perched high upon a hill.

The interior reveals another world entirely, where vaulted ceilings are adorned with beautiful murals & chandeliers, and where luxurious red velvet cascades over old sturdy antique furniture. An arched outdoor terrace beckons guests to enjoy an al fresco wine tasting overlooking the lake. An open air rooftop gives way to Angel Share Restaurant, an enchanting place to enjoy share plates with friends.
The best kept secret, however, is a speakeasy located underground. An intimate space unlike any other, the Broken Hearts Club speakeasy regularly hosts concerts, magic shows, and other live performances. Fascinating and full of surprises, it’s no wonder Crown & Thieves lands on our list of the 5 Kelowna wineries you need to visit in 2025!
The Vibrant Vine Winery
One of the oldest wineries on our list of the 5 best Kelowna wineries you need to visit in 2025, the Vibrant Vine winery continues to shine! They say you can’t judge a book by its cover, but can you judge a wine by its bottle? If so, fun, funky, quirky, and entirely one-of-a-kind is what The Vibrant Vine Winery embodies, and we are here for every bit of it!
The folks at Vibrant Vine Winery seek to bring people together through a shared love of art, music, food and wine, and they do so brilliantly. A place where everyone is welcome, wine serves as the catalyst for good times with loved ones. So much more than a winery, the Vibrant Vine houses a collection of eye-catching 3D art by the talented Phil Lewis.

Gracing their wine bottles, this artwork can also be enjoyed through their interactive 3D wine tasting experience. During the summer months, guests are encouraged to enjoy local Okanagan musicians out on their main lawn. Fresh made pizzas and woopsicles (translation: wine in frozen popsicle format) are in full supply, and Saturday happy hour is not to be missed!
A true celebration of art, music, culture, and of course, wine, The Vibrant Vine earns a spot on our list of the 5 Kelowna wineries you need to visit in 2025.
Tender Hope Winery
If you haven’t heard of Tender Hope Winery, are you ever in for a treat! Humbly located in the heart of West Kelowna’s industrial area, this loft style winery is paving the way for a new generation of winemaking. To put things in context, Paso Robles, California was ahead of the curve with the rise of their “Tin City”, established years ago. An incredible conglomeration of repurposed industrial buildings, the Tin City in Paso Robles, California, comprises an eclectic mix of tasting rooms, breweries, wineries, and distilleries, and is reinventing the definition of “winery” as we know it.

Embracing this concept, Tender Hope Winery in West Kelowna goes to show that absolutely outstanding wines can be produced anywhere. The man at the helm is owner and winemaker Efi, who realized early on that great wine begins and ends with exceptional grapes. His focus on extremely high quality grapes is evident in each bottle produced.
Boasting a vast portfolio of wines, guests will be blown away by Chardonnay, Riesling, and Roussane varietals, along with an incredibly full bodied Cabernet Cauvignon and a sumptuous Syrah that is often hard to come by in the North Okanagan area. One visit to Efi and his industrial tasting room and you’ll see why it sits proudly on our list of the top 5 Kelowna wineries you need to visit in 2025.
Tantalus Vineyards
Tantalus Vineyards sits on one of the most idyllic locations, resting on the eastern slopes of the Okanagan Valley and overlooking Okanagan Lake in East Kelowna. Proudly home to one of the oldest continuously producing vineyards in British Columbia, Tantalus Vineyards has a rich history of grape producing which dates back to the 1920s.

It should come as no surprise, then, that Tantalus Vineyards is celebrated for its dedication to producing exceptional Riesling and Pinot Noir wines. In focusing on a small, terroir-driven line of wines, Tantalus Vineyards embodies quality over quantity.
Tantalus Vineyards boasts a state of the art tasting room to match. A sleek and modern interior reveals concrete floors and loft-style ceilings, but the space stays warm with wooden accents. A complete showstopper, their gorgeous tasting bar showcases backlit bottles display the artwork of Dempsey Bob, one of Canada’s most highly-acclaimed artists. From their informative and thoughtful seated tastings to their majestic views, a visit to Tantalus is bar none, placing it firm on our list of the top 5 Kelowna wineries you need to visit in 2025.
The Gallery Winery
Nothing tugs at the heartstrings like a good family story. Sisters and powerhouse duo, Kirstin and Natasha share their heartwarming story at the Gallery Winery, located in West Kelowna. It all began when the highly ambitious siblings set out to plant a small vineyard on their family acreage, originally purchased by their parents back in the 1980s.

Fast forward nearly twenty years, and the Gallery Winery proudly opened its doors to the public in 2021. A stunning, crisp white farmhouse with black finishings fit for the cover of any home magazine, the inviting space exudes warmth and welcomes visitors to stay a while.
A tasting at the Gallery affords guests the opportunity to enjoy an assortment of boutique artisanal wines, while enjoying stories enthusiastically shared by the sisters. Impressively, each wine label is hand crafted by sister Natasha herself, a gifted artist in residence at the winery. Her stunning artwork is displayed throughout the space and available for purchase. Each label tells a story that evokes memories of the journey from past to present.
