The dream for Azhadi Vineyards began in January 2018, when Mike and Janet Azhadi first stood upon the Kelowna property. Surrounded by silence and sweeping lake views, they felt an immediate connection to the land. As they took in the stillness, a bald eagle soared overhead, a sign, they believed, that this was the sacred place where their vision would take flight.
From that moment, the dream was clear: to build a destination that celebrated freedom, opportunity, and belonging; values that define both their Persian heritage and their deep gratitude for Canada, the country they now call home.
Azhadi Vineyards is the embodiment of that gratitude, a living expression of the belief that when cultures meet with respect and care, something extraordinary can grow.
Our approach blends old-world wisdom with new-world innovation. We draw inspiration from Persian values of hospitality and connection, honouring the past while embracing progress. At the heart of our philosophy is a belief in slow, intentional craftsmanship that resonates with depth and meaning.
