Frind Estate Winery
Frind Estate Winery is the first beach winery in North America and is situated on the historic Bennett Property in West Kelowna, British Columbia. The property was purchased in 2017 after Markus Frind sold his company Plenty of Fish and wanted to do something more hands-on. With over 500 years of family farming history, Markus wanted to combine his two passions; technology and agriculture. Today Frind Estate Winery is one of the most advanced wineries in the world, using cutting edge technology to create truly distinctive wines. Taste wine whilst savouring the lake view today!
Frind Estate Winery is located at 3725 Boucherie Road, in West Kelowna, BC. This stunning lakefront property was the home of former BC Premier, Bill Bennett. The Bennett family raised their children in the beautifully renovated home on site, while in service to the province from 1976 to 1982. The patriarch of the family and Bill’s father, W.A.C Bennett, was the longest serving Premier to the province of BC from 1952 to 1973. He was also the president of the Okanagan’s first winery: “Calona Wines”.
