Howling Bluff Estate Winery
Located within one of the world’s best wine growing regions, the Naramata Bench in B.C.’s bountiful Okanagan valley, Howling Bluff Estate Winery is a family-owned estate winery that takes pride in growing our own vines and producing small lots of remarkable wines. We honour the authenticity of old world Burgundy varietals and apply innovative, new world techniques to optimize the quality of our winemaking.
A celebrated winery, Pinot Noir is our signature. We strive for excellence, and are honoured to have been bestowed four Lieutenant Governor Award for Excellence in BC Wines, distinguished as the Canadian Red Wine of the Year (2010), and awarded a silver medal from the Decanter World Wine Awards (2015), deemed the world’s largest and most influential wine competition.
With passion you will find the team and myself working in the vineyard everyday tending to the vines, often accompanied by our over-eager winery pups Quies and Lucy, or in the cellar crafting the wines. From May to October, our fun and knowledgeable tasting room staff welcome guests for an informative, authentic, and relaxed sampling of our wines.
