The iconic wine trail of Lake Country’s Scenic Sip is located only 25 minutes south, and the Sparkling Hill Resort Wine Tour begins with stops at 50th Parallel Estate Winery, O’Rourke’s Peak Cellars, Intrigue Wines, Arrowleaf Cellars, Gray Monk Estate Winery and Ex NIhilo Vineyards.
One of the most popular wine trails in the entire Okanagan, the Scenic Sip Wine Trail offers an intimate and relaxed setting to indulge in award winning Pinot Noir, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Merlot among other mouth watering varietiels. Winding along the shores of Okanagan Lake and set amongst Apple and Cherry orchards, the vineyards of Lake Country routinely see over 2,000 hours of sunshine annually. The Sparkling Hill Resort Wine Tour begins with private pickup at the impressive grand entrance of the resort, followed by a scenic and interpretive drive along Okanagan Lake as we make our way from higher elevations towards the productive vineyards of this wine trail.
Offering a blend of small, family owned and farmed wineries, to the impressive architecture and scale of modern wineries, the Sparkling Hill Wine Tour showcases the best of Okanagan Wine Country. The tour includes stops at 5 wineries, offering wine lovers 25 tastings throughout the day as well as a leisurely lunch stop at either the Garden Bistro (O’Rourke’s Peak Cellars), or Block One (50th Parallel Estate Winery).
Suited well to those just getting into the world of wine, or for those with educated palettes, The Sparkling Hill Resort Wine Tour offers a great day away from the resort and an introduction to the wines of the South Okanagan. This exclusive experience includes VIP tasting appointments allowing guests to work one on one with tasting associates, ask questions and learn more about each wine.
In between winery appointments, you’ll ride in style in our brand new Mercedes Sprinter touring vans, complete with leather interior and custom guest controlled audio. As with the experience at the resort, you’ll be pampered and taken care of throughout the day.
Finishing the tour with a vineyard walk and photos, there’s time for a final glass of your preferred wine as you enjoy the late afternoon sunshine on a patio before heading back to the resort to finish off the day.
